The Atelier

No shortcuts.
Every True North bag is cut from a single hide of full-grain leather, then saddle-stitched by a single craftsman from start to finish. We use vegetable-tanned leather from a third-generation tannery in Tuscany, waxed Irish linen thread, and solid brass hardware that develops its own quiet patina.
When something does eventually need attention — a strap, a buckle, a stitch — we'll repair it for as long as we're standing.
